She is an intelligent and reserved woman; since childhood she has shown more distant and intellectual characteristics. Despite appearances, she gets irritated easily, but has a great passion for children and animals.

Born on a planet far removed from the others, Ryan grew up in a humble family. Her world was marked by hardship yet lived in harmony with nature, possessing only primitive technology; despite the adversities, she always found a way to bring happiness to her family. An only child, she shone like a star—not by force, but through sheer talent—consistently demonstrating exceptional skill in marksmanship and horsemanship. Unfortunately, her life was far from idyllic, and her village fell victim to a brutal attack. After losing her companions, she sought vengeance and marched to war with a small contingent of soldiers. The conflict lasted nine years; although they emerged victorious, few survivors remained, and the war was only just beginning. Shortly thereafter, the village was attacked again—this time by the CPI, which seized everything that remained, including the neighboring kingdoms. Having lost everything, she found a new purpose in life: to destroy those responsible for the deaths of everyone she loved. Thus, with limited resources, Ryan travels the cosmos alone in pursuit of revenge. During the Penacony arc, Ryan meets the Astral Express crew, Sunday, Ciel, and Boothill, eventually becoming a traveling companion to them.
